Welcome!

The Hayloft Golf Society is a small society based in Giltbrook, Nottingham. We are now approaching our first decade and continue to go from strength to strength.

 

The Society was founded by a small band of like minded people who enjoyed good beer, good company and on occasion a good round of golf.

 

Since then the membership has expanded to include members of all ages and all standards, ranging from single figure handicappers through to beginners, from all over Nottingham and Derby. The name of the game is to enjoy the golf and have a laugh along the way.

 

We play ten main events each year, on Saturdays between February and November on range public and private courses within 50 mile of the Hayloft. The majority of golf days consist of coffee and breakfast on arrival followed by 18 holes. On occasions there may be soup and sandwiches after, but always a short prize giving. There is also the annual golf weekend known as the Spring Trophy and the end-of-season knees-up to consider.

 

One of the aims of the society is to provide value for money for its members to this end we strive to maintain the cost of events to an average of 30 to 35 GBP. The format is usually individual stableford competitions, though pairs and team events are also contested throughout the year.

 

There is no annual subscription just a small refundable joining fee. The rest is simply Pay-As-You-Go. New members and guests are always welcome, so why not contact us and give it a go, we know you’ll enjoy it.
